Relationship building

We appreciate the need to be an integral member of the client’s team. Our first step when arriving at a new client site is to build a smooth working relationship with the in-house team.

Review techniques

Martarna consultants quickly familiarise themselves with a client’s needs and level of specialisation. Our review techniques for SAP projects build an in-depth understanding of a client’s configuration, schemas and rules, allowing us to compare these against SAP standard implementation.

Project management

Large and small changes must be managed to ensure the smooth running of a project. In-depth discussions with the project management team establish what project management tools are used and we utilise those tools in conjunction with Jive for the life of the project. For smaller requirements, such as support changes where no project team exists, Martarna uses Jive to plan the workload and tasks, ensuring a smooth transition from development to deployment.


Progress documentation

We document as we go, producing accurate and comprehensive documentation. This has two benefits for the client: it allows change to be supported independently of Martarna; and leaves a reference tool for use by Martarna consultants for ongoing management and subsequent onsite visits.

Open communication

During the project lifecycle, it is important to maintain open communication with the project team, the project management and other stakeholders. We organise a schedule of regular updates to fit and complement the project business style e.g. regular emails, activity streams, verbal and / or written reports, or meetings.


Our task is incomplete until key client users are comfortable with the current status of their project and can fully utilise Martarna’s deliverables. We ensure this through a variety of handover methods including: presentations, discussions, knowledge base, demonstrations and one-on-one coaching.

Follow up

Even with a thorough handover, Martarna understands that you might need a little more clarification or support. We will follow up with regular calls and ongoing analysis.
